Where can I post photo of my dog (dobermann) to seek medical advice?

My Dobermann has some skin problem (goose bumps-like and loss of fur).I think it could be due to allergy. So I'm looking for a website/forum where I can submit a photo and hope that someone could give me some advice as to the cause of the problem. Thanks.Where can I post photo of my dog (dobermann) to seek medical advice?
Skin problems are extremely difficult to diagnose in person and nearly impossible from a picture. The vet will have to do scrapings to check for mange mites. If it's allergies, a specialist should take blood samples and run a complete panel to see what the dog is REALLY allergic to.

Many skin problems in Dobes are a result of stress and anxiety; they often suck on their flanks and chew themselves up in a boring or unpredictable environment. Make sure the dog is getting plenty of attention and strenuous exercise every day. They are very smart dogs, and need training to keep their brains busy.

Read some great books on training. (Try not to pick books randomly - there are a lot of bad books out there also!) These are some of my favorites and you can get them on Amazon.com

its better for you to take him to the vet just to be sure its nothing serious
taking the dog to the vet is the best bet, just to make sure it isn't too serious.

If the problem is on the chin, let me know..as that is common and easy to treat.

use my email from profile page, and i will answer you here, as an edit.
You local humane society has a vet clinic weekly that charges very little to see pets and update their shots.

Call the local humane society and get the baby an appointment with a vet as soon as possible. He must be miserable :-((
What color is your doberman?

If your dog is blue or fawn your dog has Alopecia

It is a skin and hair condition found in blues and fawns.

Since these are recessive genes to get those colors most dogs of those colors will have it to smoe degree.

You will need to be feeding a super high quality diet and most likely som suppliments. It never really goes away but you can get them to look much better and grow back some fur.

If you need more info please e-mail and I will get you as much as I have.

I have had dobermans for 17 years.
Better yet, take him to the VET!!!

You are asking idiots to solve this problem for you. Why??

You need a trained professional to help your poor dog.

If you can't pay, call the SPCA or animal control in your area, they have programs to help.
This could be allergies or hot spots or even the start of a thyroid problem.I would recommend showing your vet and not us.
