Can you, please give me an advice what should I do to get into Yale University?

I would like to know, do I need to have many different diplomas and things like that. I don't live in USA but I can speak English quite well. Please help me. Thank you for any answer. Can you, please give me an advice what should I do to get into Yale University?
You can look at the website of Yale and see the typical GPA and SAT scores for students entering Yale this year. You would have to at least match up with those scores as a minimum requirement for admission.

Yale is one of the ';Ivy League'; colleges and is routinely ranked as one of the top three colleges in the USA. Admission to Yale is very difficulty because they recieve many thousands of applications for admission from the best students in the USA but they only admit about 1400 Freshmen. Only a small number of the Freshmen would be international students - a few dozen from the entire world, at most.

If you are not one of the best students in your country, then your chances of being admitted are basically zero.

However, there are over 4000 college campuses in the USA and there are many, many excellent universities where you could be admitted. If you check the US News Website for college rankings you will find a list of about 100 top schools. All the schools on those lists are respected, accredited schools that are well known around the USA. You can get an excellent education at any of those top tier schools.

Also, you could use the college search program at Princetonreview.com to find some schools that match your academic credentials, finances and the area of the USA that you want to visit.

Good luck! Can you, please give me an advice what should I do to get into Yale University?
No, you do not have to have many diplomas - just graduation from secondary school. You do, however, have to have done extremely well in school (the other poster mentioned GPA, or Grade Point Average, which is probably not relevant for your country, but the university will evaluate your high school grades to develop an equivalent), and you probably will have to take the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test - look at www.collegeboard.com to get a sense of what this is) and do extremely well on it, as well as taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a foreign language). You should also know that students at elite U.S. schools such as Yale are expected to have gone beyond just doing well in their coursework in order to be admitted. Usually, they will have a portfolio of activities, ranging from athletic team membership to public service projects, in which they have been involved. The types of U.S. students who apply to Yale would typically have applied to many outstanding schools and would only be admitted to a few. Therefore, applying to a single U.S. school and expecting to be admitted because you ';meet the standards'; may not be very reasonable in your case, even if your record is very strong.
