I'm seeking for advice from the ones who has been in Thailand?

Hi, we are planning our 2 weeks holiday in Thailand from the 1st of July. Any help-full advice would be much appreciated.

What are the places not to be missed in Thai?

Have you been in Thai in July? What about the weather?

Any recommended places for scuba diving???

Thank You.I'm seeking for advice from the ones who has been in Thailand?
Only 2 weeks! Oh boy, it'll be over in a blink of an eye. I would say with amount of time that you have, 5 days in Bangkok would be the max. Definitely stay in the Sukhumvit area, anywhere soi 1-20. It's Very convenient to go to any of the attractions also close to Siam and MBK malls. There is also a sky train that is easy accessible from Sukhumvit.

Must see Bangkok:

The grand Palace

The Emerald Buddha

Wat Pho

Also a trip to Ayutthaya(day trip), the ancient capital of Thailand, before it was invaded and burned by the Burmese hundreds of years ago. You can book this with almost any hotel. There are several versions of this Ayutthaya tour, take the one with evening dinner cruise. I made the mistake of not taking the dinner cruise and was stuck in traffic for an hour and a half because the tour is over about 530pm. All the tours start on a bus and end the boat so you can just stay on the boat and eat dinner and look at all the lights of Bangkok, it's pretty cool.

With the remaining time that you have, I would either go South or go North, you really don't have time to do both.

South

Since you want to go Diving, Koh Tao is probably the best spot in Thailand. It is also the cheapest place to get certified, open water course is around 7500 baht, plus fee for you Bungalow 4 days 3 nights. http://www.saireehutresort.com/index.php鈥?/a> or http://www.kohtaobansdiving.com/liveaboa鈥?/a>

Before you go to Koh Tao you have to fly into Koh Samui, it's a nice place and worth going to, but it's more touristy than Koh Tao. While in Koh Samui I would definitely checkout Ang Thong National Marine Park(day trip) it's absolutely beautiful and can be booked through any resort. You can book your flight to Samui with www.bangkokair.com online. 3 days in Samui and 5 days in Koh Tao.

North

Being that it is extremely hot in Thailand in July, if it were me I would go to Chiang Mai and Chaing Rai.

Must see in Chiang Mai:

Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep

Hill Tribe and Botanical gardens

Mae Sa elephant training center-Watch elephants paint, it's amazing, checkout youtube to find the videos!

Also take the golden Triangle tour(day trip) can be booked anywhere in Chiang Mai. You'll take a boat across the river into Laos and go to the Northern most point in Thailand and go to the Burmese border. You'll also get to go to the Long-neck tribe, it's really pretty cool.

If you have any questions just email me I have been to all of the above, and have tons of pictures if you like.I'm seeking for advice from the ones who has been in Thailand?
2 weeks is not a lot of time in Thailand.

I myself wouldn't travel too much. Find a place you like and get to know the place. You have have rain...maybe even every day but it never rains all the time, depending if you in the north of south.

There are many great island where you can scuba dive.
Hi there. i've been to Bangkok, Thailand. Places not to be missed? a lot actually. Let me give you some.. Got to WAT PO, WAT ARUN %26amp; THE GRAND PALACE while cruising the Chao phraya river. You can do that by getting on a ferry at saphan taksin pier. just ride the BTS Skytrain SILOM line and get off at the saphan taksin station. Fare of the ferry is THB13. One of my favorite temple to visit (when i'm in Bangkok is the WAT PO (entrance fee is THB50). To get there, get off at the THA TIEN PIER (pier code is N8). A 5 mins walk and the Reclining Buddha is waiting for you inside the temple. After the visit, you can hop on to another boat ride this time to WAT ARUN (entrace is THB50) which is right across the THA TIEN PIER. Fare is set at THB3. Then enroute to the GRAND PALACE, just take another boat ride back to THA TIEN then walk for 10mins. Walls of the Palace is visible after a few minutes walk. *****take note**** some bystanders will tell you that the palace is close for a holiday and will offer you another tour instead. JUST IGNORE THEM. Make sure you wear proper attire (no sleeveless for girls and no shorts for the guys) and pay THB350 for the entrance. it's best to do this in the morning to avoid the crowd and the afternoon heat. After this, you can ride a tuktuk (make sure you negotiate the fare before riding the tuktuk)or a taxi and head to KHAO SAN ROAD to chill. Food, drinks and souvenir items are everywhere. After khao san road, you can go to MBK or SIAM PARAGON for some serious shopping experience.

I
Using Phuket as a base, you can explore the best diving sites in the world. In order of (my) preference: Phuket - Samui - Pattaya

In Bangkok I recommed doing a bicycle tour. That way you can see a lot of the city whrere tourists never come or go to. You'll see how normal Thai people live and work. Plenty of temples, and even some very famous (but not on the tourist track!). In half a day you see more than most expats in 5 years.
it might be rainy due to moonsoon. Crocdile form and floating market.
Be sure to visit Phuket
