Ok, my fiance and I like the colors red, black and silver. We have choosen to get married early fall but I'm not sure what to do with the reception. I love the idea of stars as we would love to have a outside wedding. Any advice or ideas? I am planning my wedding and need some advice?
For the reception, black magic roses [which are dark red roses that look like they have tints of black on the petals] for centerpieces %26amp; any other dark red flower would be perfect.

If you want to incorporate silver in the flower centerpieces, you could ask your florist to glue or scatter the rhinestones. It could resemble little twinkling stars. On your tables, you could also have a black linen underlay %26amp; a red linen on top of that %26amp; scatter more rhinestones on the table or glitter. If you don't like the idea of glitter or anything scattered on your tables, you could have a silver runner going along the table on top of the red linen.
Here is a picture of an outdoor wedding with red damask linens.

Since you'd like your wedding to be during the night, pick a large, flat area where you can set up tables %26amp; possibly a dance floor if you choose to. If you'd like a back-up plan, rent out a big party tent just for shelter purposes. You can rent ones where there are no sidings, just a top.
If you stay with the outdoors %26amp; forego the tent, you can hang little lanterns from trees for lighting %26amp; you can also hire lighting vendors to achieve your mood so it won't clash with the outdoors %26amp; so that your guests will be able to view the stars without any light obstruction.

Good luck %26amp; best wishes!I am planning my wedding and need some advice?
Do ou have a horticultural center or arboretum close by? I have attended a few weddings at the horticultural center and morris arboretum in philadelphia. they were beautiful lots of stars and a rain option if needed. The reception could be white and silver with atouch of black like bows on menu cards etc.. For the red I would have roses or tulipsin your centerpieces. If you do a buffet I would have a plated first course - The table looks better when it is set for a sitdown and you still gehave the buffet . For favors you could have white chocolate start made . Congrats and good luck!
