How would you advice those 'Muslims' who just fast in Ramadan and don't pray?

And after Ramadan is over thats it their back to their old ways.How would you advice those 'Muslims' who just fast in Ramadan and don't pray?
First thing ..Is NOT to condemn them...Maybe give them some guidance and help, after all you don't know what their reason for not praying is... especially a new revert to Islam or also a new revert who does not have any Muslim guidance to help them learn and their faith is low.....There may be many things that are getting in the way of what someone wants %26amp; needs to do...I want someone to encourage me, offer their knowledge if i want %26amp; need it, if I am doing something wrong please correct me and show me the right way...I have seen so many people quick to judge why someone does not pray and speak badly of them, calling them lazy and not a good Muslim..wow that is really going to help me get better, huh?? that makes me feel even worse and then I don't think I am worthy of Allah's (SAW) blessing..All I ask is that you give positive advice to Muslims whose faith is low..How would you advice those 'Muslims' who just fast in Ramadan and don't pray?
Ask them why they don't prey. Maybe they have a reason like they've never been introduced to the world of praying or something like that. And if the reason I've given in the case then every once in a while when you see them pray together, give them that routine and they'll thank you for it both in this life and the next!

Otherwise I guess it's just down to laziness, we all need a little reminder here and there
I'd try to make them want to pray. Like, I'd help them all the way, tell them to start from one prayer, to two and until they can pray all 5. It'll be a start, and hopefully it'll work.

@Hope-I don't think it's right to say that their fast isn't valid. I haven't read anywhere that your fast would break if you don't pray.
why are they fasting?

is it for the right reasons?

ramadan is about more then fasting but dedicating more time to practicing the deen and bringing more focus into your life. they might not be praying because they are out of the habit and once you are out of it ashaytan makes it difficult to go back. but remember the gates of hell are locked in paradise so make dua for them inshAllah.

also do they wake up for suhoor? fajr prayer should naturally follow this..

at the end of it you can only advise and make dua and set a good example, everyone has their own soul and is free to do as they please,

Allah bless you for your efforts

salam

p.s. also email them about the benefits of prayer including strength, good exercise, closer to Allah etc aswell as the punishment for abandoning it. dont be scared they will get offended or ignore the email, islam is about doing whats right no matter how people react and Allah knows best
I would tell him a very good hadith, in which the Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, says that the difference between a believer and a non-believer is prayer.

And then, I would tell him the following: ';God has given you everything you wanted, yet you can't spend ten minutes a day thanking Him? Only ten minutes! This isn't a situation of give and take. You don't just take everything from God and then give nothing in return. That would be most ungrateful of you, and God hates the ungrateful.

God is the One who created you, He's the one Who put you on this earth. If you don't believe in Him and thank Him in prayer, then there is no use in fasting either. As the Prophet, peace be upon him, would say: ';You are just starving yourself';. Like a fool, might I add.

Imagine yourself on the Day of Judgment. God will ask you why you didn't remember Him in prayer. You will be so embarassed, that God will tell you afterwards ';Just like you didn't remember Me, I won't remember you';. And then, He will send you away to the Hellfire.';

I can go on and on. But, if you want to really advise these people, the best you could do is remind them of the Day on which they will be judged. What excuse will they give to Allah? Do they know that God will refuse to meet them, if they continue like this? For the one who believes, this is a punishment worst than Hellfire! Just the thought of it makes me cringe!

PS. DUCK POWER! HAYA!
Tell them that the Prophet once said ';the difference between a Muslim and a Non-Muslim is salat'; or something like that. One's fast is not valid if they don't pray.
Ask them:

';Are you sure you'll make it to the next Ramadan?';

And, of course, remind them of the obligations in Islam.
I would say, what is the point? without prayer, how can you even call yourself a Muslim, prayer being one of the five pillars and all.
Give 'em time..

I was there before, 1 year ago..

They'll slowly grow up, get curious, learn %26amp; take action...

Yes, it is frustrating, but we gotta have patience..
Those people named Ramadan Muslims

any way should not loss hope and always we should advice others with kindness and encourge them to continue the good deeds and help them keep their faith in Allah
I'd ask them why they bother pretending and why not just go out and live a full life of sin, and before they could answer I would add, Allah isn't fooled.
I would say Alhamdulilah they are closer to ALLAH for those days. Im sure for every ten that do that at least 4 will carry on strenthening their iman. its only time until the other 6 do.

Salah is a piller of Islam you cannot do one piller and leave another and quote hadith Hope said.
I advise them to wise-up and abandon Islam all together.
Remind them of death, it can be the last Ramadhan they see!
they just need the right guidance
