Are the citizens advice bureau always right?

I've just got some advice from the Citizens advice bureau. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how acurate their advice about legal stuff is!Are the citizens advice bureau always right?
Usually pretty good.....but everyone can make mistakes.....take their advice then visit another for confirmation.Are the citizens advice bureau always right?
They can be the very opposite to right, so many things they dont know about
Yes! I've never had either wrong advice or bad advice. Maybe, they are just telling you what you don't want to hear?
I went years ago. This kind man (after all, they are volunteers) tried his hardest to help us. But all he could do was look up some information in a book, and we could have done that at the library.
the only offer advice based upon expereince, if you do not want to use their advice then dont.
We are all fallible. If you feel that the information you got is not correct then you have all the right to question further...you can also explore further and confirm information. What you need to keep in mind is that you may not like what you hear....however the information provided to you is based on the information you provide to them.
they wouldn't even help me i found them a waste of time!!!
Their system is updated monthly or when a new law is made effective. they can't always give you the advice you want to hear and they should have refered you to another party if they were unsure. they also have to check with the Advice session superviser before giving a final goodbye. if you are in doubt you can go to another one and present the problem to them.
i've always found them very helpful apart from 1 time this retired lawer was there helping out and didnt seem up to date. Dont what i would have done if they hadn't helped me.
I'd say its a bit hit and miss.





I used to work for a computer company, and we used to get plenty of letters from customers who had been incorrectly advised by CAB about Sale of Goods Act, Distance Selling Regs, etc.
HI there, i found them not very good, they didnt help me one bit..... and they gave me totally diffrent advice to what the police gave me and watchdog...
